  • Wet pet food need storage space. You'll need to stock up and make sure you have enough to last before your next purchase.


  • Wet pet food can be pricey. Wet food is not generally as cost effective as dry kibble.


  • Wet pet food has to be refrigerated. Wet pet food, once opened, has to be refrigerated to prevent bacterial growth. It also needs to be sealed properly so that it won't spill in your fridge.


  • Wet pet food is messier. Wet food is not going to be easy to clean up once spill.

Most wet foods only last up to seven days in the fridge, so you have to make sure you use it and it doesn't go to waste. If you want to keep longer, you can always freeze it .Which means more work for you.
